Nettverksbasert logistikk (Total Assett Visibility) - teknologiinnspill til FS 07

The scope of FFI project TEK14 is to identify technologies that will shape tomorrow’s battle field. This report is one of 20 reports adressing important technologies thought to have a major impact on the development of future military operations, doctrines, organization and force structures. In this report network based logistics with focus on Total Asset Visibility (TAV) is described. The technological basis for TAV is outlined and possible benefits, challenges and cost issues related to the implementation of TAV in the Norwegian defence forces are discussed.
