This report is part of an effort to improve the ability of the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency to assess noise pollution from ring ranges. Here we analyze results from measurements done near Hjerkinn 21st of September 2006, of the 155 mm eld howitzer, M109. M109 is one of the noisiest weapons in the Norwegian defence, and as such represents a limiting factor for activity at ring ranges and training elds. MILSTØY II is the noise analysis code used by Norwegian Defence Estates Agency to estimate the noise level near military ring ranges and training elds. This code takes as input an emission database, containing the source level relatively close to the weapon. The emission data calculated in this report is presented on a form suitable to be included in the MILSTØY emission database.
