Defence Systems

The role of the Defense Systems division is to make proposals for conceptual solutions, system solutions, and technological solutions that change the Armed Forces, as well as ensuring their realisation.

The work is carried out in line with the long-term plan for the defence sector, the Land Force Study, the Cyber and ICT Study and FFI’s 20-year strategy.

The division supports materiel procurements of significance for the Armed Forces’ operational capacity in all phases of the life cycle. Special attention is given to joint operational capacity and use of new technologies.

We’re always looking for ways to link projects across branches of the Armed Forces. This facilitates successful implementation.
